CANAL uses collaborative services from companies providing computer services, information storage, customer service telephone management, etc. In some cases, it may involve an international data transfer which, in any case, would be covered by the European Commission’s Decisions or the adoption by means of adequate safeguards and would always be limited to the rendering of services carried out by our providers on behalf of CANAL. Apart from the aforementioned cases, CANAL will not facilitate personal data provided in this form to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so, as may be the case of communication with State security forces and bodies, courts and tribunals and/or other organisations and public administrations. 5. Rights

Users may exercise the following rights before CANAL:

  • Access to personal data, so that CANAL confirms they are processing them and obtain, where applicable, information regarding the processing being conducted.
  • Correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Deletion of personal data when one of the circumstances provided for in the legislation is met.
  • Restriction of the processing of personal data when one of the conditions indicated in the standards is fulfilled. In such a case, CANAL shall only retain them for the preparation, fulfilment or defence of claims, or to protect the rights of another person or legal entity, or for reasons of important public interest for the Union or a particular member state.
  • Objection to the processing of personal data, when one of the circumstances provided for in the legislation is met. In such cases, CANAL shall stop the processing of personal data, unless there are legitimate, compelling reasons to do so, or for the preparation, fulfilment or defence of claims.
  • Portability of personal data, to transfer them to another Data Controller when one of the circumstances provided for in the legislation is met.

To make use of any of these rights, the holder of the personal data shall be able to remit a notice indicating the right which they would like to exercise to Calle Santa Engracia 125, 28003 in Madrid, with the reference “RGPD/DERECHOS,” or send an email to privacidad@canaldeisabelsegunda.es.

For further information regarding his/her rights, the holder of the data can visit the web page of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos). In the event that the holder of the data considers that CANAL is not properly processing the personal data or that their intentions were not satisfied in matters of exercising their rights, they may present a claim before the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency).
