Mariano González Sáez holds a degree in Law and is a career civil servant belonging to the Senior Technical Corps of the General State Administration. Over the last thirty years, he has held various positions of responsibility in environmental matters at the three levels of public administration: the Ministry of the Environment; the Regional Ministry of the Environment, Housing and Agriculture of the Community of Madrid, where he is leaving his post as Deputy Minister; and the Department of the Environment of Madrid City Council.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving (IDAE), of the State Water Management Company of the Northern Basin, of the State Water Management Company of the Tagus Basin, of the Madrid Mobility Company of the Madrid City Council, of the Environmental Management and Development Company of the Community of Madrid (GEDESMA) and of the Madrid Institute for Rural, Agricultural and Food Research and Development (IMIDRA).

He is Deputy Regional Minister for the Environment, Agriculture and Territorial Planning and Director of Ente Público Canal de Isabel II. A lawyer with specialisation in Local Public Management. He has extensive experience in the public and private sector, performing functions linked to local development and the management of public services in various local entities. He has held the positions of Director General of Territorial Rebalancing, Director General of Agriculture, Livestock and Food, Technical Advisor to the Regional Minister for the Environment, Spatial Planning and Sustainability, Commissioner of the Government of the Community of Madrid for the Revitalisation of Rural Municipalities and Councillor in Prádena del Rincón.

Graduate in Environmental and Health Biology, Agricultural Engineer, Graduate in Environmental Sciences, Diploma in Advanced Studies in the Agricultural, Food and Environmental Chemistry programme, with studies in Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid. He is a career civil servant in the Corps of State Agricultural Engineers and holds a diploma in Advanced National Defence Studies from CESEDEN and has completed the Executive Programme in Public Sector Governance (ESADE). He has developed his administrative career in different positions and administrations such as the Andalusian Regional Government, Government Delegations in Andalusia and Madrid and in the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment. He has been a director of TRAGSA and a trustee of the Fundación Observatorio Ambiental de Granadilla. He currently holds the position of Director General of Water Management and Green Zones in Madrid City Council.

She is Graduate in Law from the University of Alcalá de Henares and Master's Degree in Legal Practice from the Bar Association of Alcalá de Henares.

She has worked as an employment and local development agent in the City Council of Alcalá de Henares and has worked as a practising lawyer.

She has been Councillor Spokesperson in the City Council of Alcalá de Henares and Regional Member of the Madrid Parliament.

She is currently Mayor-President of the City Council of Alcalá de Henares, President of the Federation of Municipalities of Madrid, President of EPE Alcalá Desarrollo, President of the Board of Directors of Cementerio Jardín, S.A., President of the Mancomunidad de Aguas del Sorbe and Vice-President of the Territorial Council of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces.

He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Carlos III University, is a member of the Madrid Association of Industrial Engineers, has been a visiting pre-doctoral researcher at the University of Washington (Seattle) and has completed several postgraduate studies in engineering and management. He is currently completing his PhD at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He is currently Global Director of Advanced Platform at Iveco, director of Aureum Vallis Open Community S.L. and lecturer/associate researcher at Nebrija University.

During his career he has held various positions as an engineer, manager and founding partner in companies in different sectors such as energy, defence, aerospace, automotive, training and consultancy. For one year, from 2019 to 2020, he has been Director General of Sustainability and Climate Change of the Community of Madrid and member of various boards of directors and boards of trustees associated with that position.

PhD in Business Economics and Accounting, professionally registered as an Economist and Lawyer, he also holds a Master Executive in Technological and Industrial Management from the EOI, University Specialist in Business Law from the UPM, DEA in Financial Economics and Accounting from the UNED, Accounting Expert accredited by the Register of Certified Public Accountants (REC) and Certified SDG Ambition Accelerator Programme by the United Nations Global Compact. 

He began his professional career in the Finance and Economy Department of the Madrid City Council, developing it over the last 35 years in several companies: Red Eléctrica, Radio Televisión Española, Astilleros Españoles, COFIVACASA, IZAR and Navantia, where he has held various management positions in the economic, industrial, strategy and sustainability areas.  He is a member of the Management Accounting Committee of AECA and has held various positions as a member of the Administrative Bodies of companies for more than 20 years. He was appointed independent director of the Board of Directors of Canal de Isabel II, S.A. on 13 November 2017 for the statutory term of 6 years and is a member of its Audit and Sustainability Committees.

She has extensive experience in corporate governance, banking and commercial law, sustainability, and transformation of organisations, as well as in providing legal advice to companies and financial institutions. She has developed her professional career in the Banco Santander Group, where she has held executive positions in the General Secretary's Office and Compliance.

She is currently deputy secretary of the board and director of legal advice for commercial banking, governance and regulation at Santander Spain, president of Santander Seguros y Reaseguros and director and general manager of Santander Legal.

She is a member of the board of trustees of the Aranzadi-La Ley Foundation.

A regular lecturer, she has participated in collective publications and teaches in executive programmes on sustainability and corporate governance and is a Senior Fellow at ESADE's Corporate Governance Center.

She holds a degree in Law and a diploma in Business Administration from ICADE Business School, and has completed the AMP programme (ESADE-Wharton) and other training programmes in management and technical subjects.

She has more than 30 years of professional experience in chemical engineering, both in the world of business management and in the world of teaching and scientific research. She has received numerous awards for her work and contributions in science, innovation and sustainability. She has filed five patents and has published two books and more than 200 scientific articles. At the corporate level, she has been an independent director and deputy coordinator of the Board of Directors of Ercros since 2016. She is currently chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Appointments and Remuneration Committee of the Board of Directors. 

She is a professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and founder and director of the Research and Development Centre for CO2 and Hydrogen (RICH) at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi. She also leads several international projects related to clean energy, water treatment and sustainable processes.
She was appointed member of the Board of Directors of Canal de Isabel II at the General Shareholders’ Meeting of 25 November 2020, in the independent category.

He has held the highest executive positions in IBEX listed companies and in other multinational companies. He has been Chairman and CEO of AENA SME, S.A., Executive Chairman of CESCE, S.A., Chairman of Informa Dun&Bradstreet, Chairman of CIAC, Chairman of ICEX and Chairman of Invest in Spain. He has held public responsibilities as Secretary of State for Trade. 
 
Currently, in addition to his responsibilities on the board of Canal, he is a member of the boards of directors of Renantis (Milan), Nature S.a.r.l (Luxembourg), BOAB Brasil (Sao Paulo) and Grupo Pañalón. 
He has served on the boards of directors of listed companies such as AENA and DIA, S.A., and other companies such as Ahorro Corporación Financiera, S.A., CESCE, S.A., CIAC S.A., Informa Dun&Bradstreet, S.A., AENA Desarrollo Internacional, SME, S.A., INECO S.A., Retevisión, S.A., ICEX, Invest in Spain, S.A., Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, S.A., Red.es and SEACEX. He has provided consultancy services for the OECD, the EU and the World Bank in Lithuania, Russia, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria. 

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from CUNEF, is a commercial technician and state economist by competitive examination and holds a PhD in Economics, with an outstanding cum laude qualification. He has taken postgraduate courses at Harvard University, Oxford University and IESE. In the teaching field, he is a lecturer in postgraduate programmes at the Advantere School of Management. He has taught postgraduate courses at IE Business School, CUNEF and ICADE Business School.

An architect and town planner by training, she has extensive experience in the field of business, as well as in corporate governance and on the boards of directors of numerous companies. She is currently a member of the board of directors of companies such as Socimi Lar España, Oryzon Genomics, Making Science, Clínica Baviera and the Mexican company Cemex. In the past, she has been a member of the boards of companies such as Indra, Banco Mare Nostrum, Aegón España, and Banca Farmafactoring, among others. In addition, she has been President of GE Spain and Portugal, General Manager of Google Iberia, General Manager of Operations of the NH Hoteles group and CEO of Dell Computer for Spain, Italy and Portugal.

She has chaired the Social Council of the University of Seville and has been a member of the Social Council of numerous other companies and entities, such as Oracle Iberia, the employers’ association Farmaindustria, Pelayo Mutua de Seguros, the engineering company IKOR Sistemas and the Human Age Institute, of the Manpower group. She is also a member of the advisory board of Deusto Business School and an associate professor at Deusto and ESADE Business School, and performs business consultancy functions in strategy, sustainability, operations and innovation.

Economist and PhD in Economics and Business Studies in the area of Financial Economics and Accounting with the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. He has extensive experience in financial economics and accounting, financial and non-financial information, controller, corporate governance, international financing, financial markets and internationalisation, as well as experience in management and administration positions, both in private companies and in the field of public management.
He is currently chairman of the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs and its representative in the General Assembly of the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group, an advisory body to the European Commission in the field of financial and non-financial reporting. He is also a university lecturer and author of numerous books and articles in national and international journals on financial and non-financial reporting, business, internationalisation, corporate governance and sustainability, among other subjects. He also serves as general coordinator of international professional regulation of the General Council of Economists of Spain and director of the Studies Service-Chair of the same organisation.

He has been Chairman and CEO of COFIDES, as well as Dean-President of the Association of Economists of the Region of Murcia.

He is a graduate in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid 1997. Career civil servant belonging to the Cuerpo de Técnicos Superiores de Administración General of the Community of Madrid. He is currently the Technical Secretary General of the Regional Ministry of the Environment, Agriculture, and the Interior, with responsibility for coordinating the legal system, budgetary management and public procurement, human resources and general services department.

He is secretary of the Urban Planning Commission and of the Environment Council, and a member of the Preparatory Commission for the meetings of the Madrid Regional Government Council.He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Agency for Digital Administration of the Community of Madrid, the Official Gazette, the Institute for Rural, Agricultural and Food Research and Development, the Central Procurement Board, the Advisory Board for Administrative Contracting, the Standing Committees of the Council for Digital Innovation Madrid and the Interdepartmental Commission for the Reduction of Administrative Burdens and Administrative Simplification of the Madrid Region, among other bodies.

From August 2019 to August 2021, he was Technical Secretary General of the then Regional Ministry of Environment, Territorial Planning and Urban Development, performing during that period the functions of Secretary and Legal Advisor of the Company Obras de Madrid. Between 2021 and 2023, he was Technical Secretary General of the Regional Ministry of Environment, Housing and Agriculture. Previously, he was Deputy Director General of the Madrid Region in the areas of subsidised housing, protection and guardianship of minors, pharmaceutical planning, health training and employment; he has also prepared candidates for Group A bodies in both the State Administration and the Madrid Region, specialising in public sector contracting.

A graduate in Physics and Materials Engineering from the Complutense University of Madrid. She also holds an Executive MBA from the IESE Business School. She has extensive experience in management, industrial processes, construction, climate change, circular economy, energy, corporate governance and venture capital.

Since July 2023, she has been Director General of Energy Transition and Circular Economy of the Community of Madrid, with competences in energy, environmental assessment, waste management and environmental and water quality for the region. Between 2021 and 2023 she served as director general of Circular Economy and Environmental Discipline.

Before joining the Community of Madrid, she developed her professional career in Spain and Mexico in the multinational CEMEX, where she has held management positions in environmental, strategy and innovation, and has been a board member in several investee companies.

She has extensive experience in management, industrial processes, construction, climate change, circular economy, energy, corporate governance and venture capital.

He is Director General of Emergencies of the Community of Madrid and a career civil servant in the Corps of Engineers and Technical Architects, Technical Engineering Scale, specialising in Rural Planning and Agri-food Industries; in the Corps of Higher Engineers and Architects, Higher Engineering Scale, specialising in Rural Planning and Agri-food Industries, and in the Corps of Forestry Agents. 

A graduate in Forestry Engineering and Technical Forestry Engineering, he has additional training in the field of emergencies, disasters and fires. Until his appointment, he spent the last three years as Deputy Director General of Operational Coordination at the Madrid112 Security and Emergency Agency. During this period he has also participated in the management of major emergencies such as the Covid-19 pandemic, Philomena and major fires. Previously, he developed his professional career in the field of forestry. He has also carried out teaching activities at universities, professional associations and congresses on emergencies and has published in the forestry field. He has received awards of merit in the field of civil protection and emergencies.

She is a State Lawyer and holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid (San Pablo CEU). She has experience on boards of directors: as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the State Society for State Lotteries and Bets (SELAE), SEGIPSA, Acción Cultural Española, S.A. (ACE), Sociedad Estatal de Exposiciones Internacionales S.A. and Agencia EFE. And as a director of various public companies, such as SELAE, SEIASA and INISAS. She has held various positions in the State Attorney General’s Office, such as the Head of the State Attorney’s Office in the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in the State Secretariat of Economy, and other positions in State Attorney’s Offices such as before the Supreme Court, before the High Court of Justice of Madrid, in the Ministry of Health, in the Railway Infrastructure Management Entity (GIF), in the Government Delegation in Madrid or in the Regional Economic Administrative Court of Madrid. She was also a member of the group of experts who drafted the Unified Code of Good Governance in 2006.
