Canal de Isabel II re-established the water supply to Paracuellos de Jarama around 6 a.m. after establishing an alternate supply pathway from the Second Ring of Drinking Water. The supply to the municipality was cut off as a result of a fortuitous breakage recorded yesterday in an area near the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas airport, flooding the connecting tunnel from the M-14 to the M-13 and the T-3, which still remains closed to traffic.
Canal de Isabel II technical services are working in the area to repair the connection affected by this breakage and are collaborating with the different emergency and cleaning services sent to the area to remove water to be able to reopen the tunnel and access closed to traffic as soon as possible.
Canal de Isabel II once again would like to apologise to affected users and drivers, regrets any inconveniences and continues working in the area to resolve the results of this incident as soon as possible.
